Time passes slowly at first
Like a new borns face, it’s naked and free
It’s whole life ahead, to learn and grow
Going in different directions, like the branches of a tree
These branches take us places
Growing, loving, lessons to master
But something is happening to our time
Disappearing, unnoticed, it is flowing ever faster
The branches of experience, the scars of life
Its getting cluttered and all tangled up
The clock face of life is getting hidden
Suddenly, there is less in our cup
Too thick to cut, too entangled to change
We are only getting glimpses of it’s face
It’s gone so quick, our time is up
Lost forever, we have run our race
